The Pontiac International Women’s Film Festival returns from August 7th to 9th
The Pontiac International Women’s Film Festival (FICFP) will hold its third edition from August 7th to 9th, 2026, at the Cinéma Lyn in Fort-Coulonge and at Pont Blanc Beach in Mansfield.
The program will feature 12 feature and short films directed by women from Quebec and beyond, showcasing the diversity of perspectives and talents in women’s cinema.
This edition will be held under the honorary chairmanship of Mélanie Charbonneau, a director whose work has been recognized in Canada, Asia, and Europe. The FICFP remains the only regional film festival in Quebec entirely dedicated to women directors.
Created in 2018 to revitalize the cultural life of Pontiac, the festival will conclude on August 9 with the presentation of the Cocottes d’Or awards, which will recognize the best short and feature films presented during the event.
The screenings will take place at Cinéma Lyn, located at 526 Baume Street in Fort-Coulonge, and at Pont Blanc Beach, 275 Principale Street in Mansfield.
