The Otter Lake Harvest Festival will celebrate the community’s 150th anniversary
The Municipality of Otter Lake is preparing to celebrate its 150th anniversary with the Otter Lake Harvest Festival, which will take place on Saturday, September 26th, 2026, at the R.A. grounds, located at 394 Tessier Street.
The festivities will begin at 10:00 a.m. with several activities for children and adults. Outdoor games, a scavenger hunt, and a market will be among the offerings. A pop-up historical museum will also showcase aspects of the community’s history.
In the afternoon, participants can take part in an outdoor open mic starting at noon. Woodcarving demonstrations will also be presented throughout the day.
The celebrations will continue in the evening with a harvest meal at 5:00 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available at Beauchamp Service and Scooters Bar & Grill, as well as at the Picanoc corner.
At 8 p.m., festival-goers can participate in the Otter Lake Quiz, which is included with the meal ticket. Many prizes will be up for grabs. A bean bag toss tournament is also planned; details to come.
With its family-friendly programming and activities highlighting history and community, the Harvest Festival promises to be a festive occasion to celebrate Otter Lake’s 150th anniversary.
