The number of cases in the community of Fort-Coulonge / Mansfield has reached 92 since the start of the pandemic

The most recent data from the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais report indicates that 92 people in the community of Fort-Coulonge / Mansfield have contracted COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic. The first case of COVID-19 appeared in the fall and for several months the reported number of cases was 5 or less in Fort-Coulonge and Mansfield.

As of April 26, the number of cases listed in Fort-Coulonge is 33 and 59 for Mansfield-et-Pontefract. This community is not the only one in the Pontiac to have seen an increase. Shawville has now reached 24 cases, Campbell’s Bay 11 and Otter Lake has passed the 5 or less milestone by reaching 6. The Municipality of Waltham remained at 7 cases. Elsewhere in the MRC Pontiac, Bristol, Bryson, L’Isle-aux-Allumettes, Île-du-Grand-Calumet, Sheenboro and Thorne all have 5 cases or less. The municipality of Pontiac (Quyon, Eardley, Onslow, Luskville, Breckenridge) has 111 cases since March 2020. According to the most recent report, the number of active cases in the Pontiac is 61, with a total of 270 cases in the Local Network of service (RLS) Pontiac since the start of the pandemic.
