The number of active cases decreased in the Outaouais

For more than a week, cases of COVID-19 for the entire Outaouais territory have steadily declined. There are now 163 active cases of COVID-19 found in the Outaouais as of January 27. The number of active cases in the city of Gatineau is now less than a hundred with 91. The MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais territory has 31 cases, followed by Papineau with 23 cases and the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau with 16. The Pontiac still has 5 or less active cases.

The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) reiterated that the population must remain vigilant in order to further reduce the number of cases and prevent the virus from spreading. Information and statistics concerning COVID-19 in the Outaouais, are available here.
