The New Horizons Program Is Now Open

The New Horizons Program is an ideal grant for seniors’ clubs and municipalities that want to help reduce isolation among older adults and keep them actively engaged in their communities. The grant provides up to $25,000, with no financial contribution required from applicants.

This funding can be used to carry out projects dedicated to seniors as well as initiatives for people with disabilities. Normand Veillette of Loisir sport Outaouais shared more details about the program.

Deadline Approaching for New Horizons Program Applications

Applicants have until September 17 to submit a request. Be sure to include a letter of support from a non-profit organization that provides services to seniors.
