An amount of $ 980,386 was granted to the MRC Pontiac for vitalization agreements for the year 2021-2022. The program is aimed at MRCs where the challenges of vitalization are greater, as is the case in the MRC Pontiac.
“Vitalization agreements encourage the mobilization of elected officials and municipal administrations in order to give new life to their territory. They also allow the MRCs to act positively by improving services or equipment for the population, ”explains the Minister of Families and Minister responsible for the Outaouais region, Mathieu Lacombe.
Of the investments , the projects that will be created will affect economic, social, cultural or tourist development which correspond to the priorities determined by the various MRCs and will aim to improve the living environment.
