The MRC Pontiac calls for a member on the Agricultural Advisory Committee

20 December 2019 à 12:00 am

The MRC Pontiac is launching a call for candidates among the Pontiac residents, to fill a position on the Agricultural Advisory Committee (CCA). This mandate is for a 2 year period (2020 and 2021) with the possibility of renewal. The Agricultural Advisory Committee usually meets up to four times a year.

The minutes are written in both languages. The function of the CCA is to study, at the request of the council of mayors or on its own initiative, any question relating to the development of agricultural land, the practice of agricultural activities and the environmental aspects associated with the development or the practice. This includes, among other things, the analysis of the planning and urbanism by-laws, as well as the review of applications for authorization, exclusion, and inclusion in the agricultural zone. Furthermore, their function is to make the recommendations they considers appropriate regarding the matters they have examined to the MRC Council.

Applications must be submitted by Monday, January 6, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. EST to the attention of Alexandre Savoie-Perron by submitting a cover letter.
