The MRC launches a site to welcome new investors and new citizens

The MRC Pontiac launched a new website on Friday to welcome new citizens and potential investors to the MRC Pontiac.

The MRC Pontiac officially launched the new DestinationPontiac.ca microsite. The mission of this microsite is to provide a “virtual welcome” and resource page for new residents, entrepreneurs and potential investors who are considering relocating, or who have just arrived in the Pontiac. The site includes information on the services and economic opportunities available in the region. There is also a local job posting board to help those looking for work. The MRC will also be launching a promotional campaign in the new year with the goal of attracting new families, health professionals, entrepreneurs and large businesses to settle in the Pontiac.

“When a family, individual or business is considering relocating to the Pontiac, it is essential that they have the information they need at their fingertips. DestinationPontiac.ca will serve as a welcome point, providing information on the things that matter most. For individuals and families, this can include health care, community services, and lifestyle information. For businesses, this may include available land, funding, and support information. This website will put the right information in the right hands, ”said MRC Pontiac economic development director Cyndy Phillips.
