The MNA Pontiac, André Fortin, told Le Droit that he won’t be running for leader of the Liberal Party of Quebec. Today, in an article by Justine Mercier, André Fortin confides that being leader of the Liberal Party does not correspond to the type of father he wants to be.

André Fortin, a father of two young children, said in today’s edition of Le Droit newspaper that he made the decision not to run by consulting politicians who have already experience the leadership role. He said, among other things, that if the opportunity had presented itself a few years earlier or a few years from now, he could have made a different decision. The link to the article in the Journal Le Droit is available here.
