The Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais School Board will send tax information on August 6th

Taxpayers of the Commission scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais will receive their school tax information soon, based on municipal data assessment for the fiscal year beginning July 1st, 2019 and ending June 30th, 2020. The mailing date is August 6th, 2019 and the deadline for the 1st payment is September 6th, 2019 and December 5th for the 2nd.

Payment :
1. By electronic payment;
2. Credit unions and most financial institutions;
3. By mail to the following address:
Commission Scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais,
C.P. 70, Maniwaki, Quebec
J9E 3B3;
4. In person at the tax service counters of the Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais School Board in Maniwaki or Fort-Coulonge.

Although the Tax Department of the Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais School Board remains available from Monday to Friday from 8 am to noon and from 1 pm to 4 pm, taxpayers are strongly encouraged to use financial services offered by their financial institutions to pay their school taxes.

Note that, for the month of August, the opening hours are as follows:
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 15:30
Fridays: 08:00 to 12:00

No account is sent to the lending company. The taxpayer is responsible for forwarding his school tax bill to his mortgage company.

In this press release, it was said that the school board uses the services of bailiffs to collect the taxes due. Any taxpayer who has not received their school tax bill is asked to contact the school taxes department at 819-449-7866, by fax at 819-449-6083 or by email at renee.tremblay@cshbo.qc.ca.
