The Fort-Coulonge Mansfield Country Festival returns on June 2

30 March 2022 à 12:00 am

It’s official, the Fort-Coulonge/Mansfield Country Festival will be returning on June 2-5 for its fifth edition. Organizing the event alongside her husband and local artist Phil Denault, Carole Faubert said they are really happy to see the festival’s return and they’re excited to welcomes festival goers from across the country.

“It’s definitely a new start for us, it’s American and French country music shows. We get about 40 artists, singers and musicians, with our pretty impressive stage and all that. So it’s the same principle. There will be kiosks outside and the music takes place inside the arena in Fort-Coulonge. So, it’s the same deal, but it’s just that we hope the turnout is as big given that we haven’t had it for two years. We’re really tired of that.”
– Carole Faubert, Festival co-organizer (translated)

Camping is a big part of the festival each year and Faubert said they are already expecting over 200 campers on site.

More than 40 artists will perform at this year’s event. Among those invited are Stéphanie St-Jean, winner of La Voix 2016, local artist Michaela Cahill, Ghys Mongeon, Steve Desmarais, Carole-Ann King and more. Phil Denault and Faubert will also perform as they plan to launch their new album at the Festival. Tickets are on sale now for $60, you can call and reserve your ticket at 613-914-8660.
