The Equity and the Journal du Pontiac receive several QCNA Awards nominations

The Quebec Community Newspapers Association (QCNA) unveiled the newspapers nominated for the next gala celebrating English newspapers in Quebec.

The two Pontiac newspapers, The Equity and the Journal du Pontiac, received several nominations. The Equity newspaper received 7 nominations including one in the Best Overall Newspaper category. The Journal du Pontiac received 8 nominations.

Note that the director of CHIP 101.9, François Carrier, received two nominations, one in the Best French-language Editorial category and another in the Best French-language News Story category. The nominations for the QCNA Awards are available here.
