The Table Éducation Outaouais (TÉO) reveals new data on the economic impacts of school dropout in Outaouais, with the economic cost estimated at nearly $1.5 billion annually in the region. A new study commissioned by TÉO reveals that the economic impacts of school dropout in the region represent a regional economic loss of nearly $700 million annually and additional losses of nearly $818 million in various government revenues, totaling over $1.5 billion annually for Outaouais alone.
