The details of the Bouffe Pontiac Food Drive

The annual Bouffe Pontiac Food Drive will take place next Thursday, December 5th, at three locations throughout the MRC Pontiac, where volunteers and partners of Bouffe Pontiac will collect donations from drivers in the area. Bouffe Pontiac’ president, Martin Riopel.

From 6:00 am to 9:00 am, volunteers will collect donations at the intersection of Route 148 and Route 301 North in Campbell’s Bay and at the intersection of Route 148 and Pembroke Road, in the municipality of Isle-aux-Allumettes.

From 6:30 am to 9:00 am, they will be the intersection of Main Street and Center and the intersection of Main and Clarendon Streets in Shawville.

Bouffe Pontiac accepts food and monetary donations. Thanks to these donations, the organization will distribute 200 Christmas baskets to families of the MRC Pontiac in need. People can also donate via their Facebook page. Bouffe Pontiac asks drivers at these intersections to give generously, but especially to drive with caution to ensure the safety of their volunteers and everyone at these intersections.

In 2018, Bouffe Pontiac raised $8,850 and 335 kilograms of food during the food drive.
