The daily number of cases decreases significantly, but hospitalizations remain high in the Outaouais

The COVID-19 situation is improving in the Outaouais, with only 15 new cases added as of yesterday for the entire region. On the other hand, the number of hospitalizations remains high with 50 including 8 people still in intensive care.

The situation is improving in the Pontiac
In the Pontiac, after reaching 70 active cases, there are now just over 50 cases, with a total of 52 as of May 4. The municipality of Mansfield now has 74 cases, Fort-Coulonge 35, Shawville 28, Cambpell’s Bay 13, Waltham 7 and Otter Lake 6. Vaccination continues
