The curfew in effect during municipal operations on Île-du-Grand-Calumet
Several municipalities have published notices regarding their municipal operations. This is the case of Île-du-Grand-Calumet, which has indicated that all operations for the next few weeks will be carried out in accordance with the curfew in effect, except for emergency services required between 8 p.m. PM and 5 a.m. AM. Municipal buildings and municipal offices are closed to the public, with the exception of the municipal library which operates in accordance with the recommendations of the authorities.
Also, the meetings of the council, in accordance with the ministerial decree in force and the prohibitions of gatherings, will be held behind closed doors by videoconference. As was the case last spring, the recording of the sessions will be available on the municipality’s website and citizens can ask their questions in advance by email. The next regular meeting of the municipal council will also take place on Monday, January 18. Citizens who have topics or questions for council during this meeting are invited to send them by email to dg@lidgc.ca or by phone to 819- 648-5965 before Thursday January 14 at 4:00 p.m.
