The CISSS de l’Outaouais confirms the presence of the DELTA variant in the Outaouais region

The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais confirmed the presence of the Delta variant in the Outaouais region. According to the CISSS de l’Outouais, 4 cases of the Delta variant have been confirmed so far in the region.

“Investigations have been completed and people have completed their isolation. None of the cases are linked to an outbreak. We would like to remind you of the importance of receiving the 2 doses of vaccine to protect against the Delta variant ”

The CISSS de l’Outaouais also invited the population to visit the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ) website for all the updates concerning the presence of variants in the Outaouais.
