The CISSS de l’Outaouais asks the population to make an effort

The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais sent a message to the people of the Outaouais; “Those who have not yet been vaccinated against COVID-19, we invite you to do so as soon as possible” repeated several times the CEO of the CISSS de l’Outaouais, Josée Filion.

It seems that the Outaouais is now behind the rest of Quebec regarding the vaccination rate in the population. The percentage of people vaccinated with a first dose is 63.2% in the region while at the provincial level it is close to 67%.

“Unfortunately, when we look at the statistical data for the ranking of all the regions, we have one of the lowest rates in terms of vaccination coverage,” declared the President and CEO of the CISSS de l’Outaouais Josée Filion on Wednesday during a press briefing.
