The CISSS counts 94 active cases in the Pontiac
The number of active COVID cases in Quebec has continued to increase and the region is no exception. The number of active cases according to the Integrated Health and Social Services Center (CISSS) of the Outaouais now reaches 94 cases in the Pontiac Local Service Network (RLS) and 3,065 in the Outaouais according to the update of Thursday afternoon (December 30). The RLS includes MRC Pontiac and the Municipality of Pontiac.
This is an increase of 28 for the Pontiac from the previous day. The city of Gatineau has 2,928 cases, the MRC Papineau 537, the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais 334 and like the Pontiac, the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau has 94 cases. The number of hospitalizations is sharply increasing with 23, compared to 11 the day before. One of those cases is in intensive care.
