The CHIP 101.9 Christmas drawing contest is back

More than $ 1,000 in total will be awarded by CHIP 101.9 this year, among students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 of elementary school who will participate in the radio’s traditional Christmas drawing contest. The theme chosen this year is “Draw us your most beautiful Santa Claus”, the drawings must be submitted by December 18th. “It’s a contest that has lasted for more than 10 years, so it’s a theme that we have already taken in the past, but those who participated are at least 20 years old now” explained Nathalie with humor. Denault of CHIP 101.9. Nathalie Denault also confirmed that in addition to the prizes to the winners, participation prizes will also be awarded this year.

Contest rules:

1. Draw your picture on a white sheet of 8 ½ x 11 size.
2. You can use your wooden colored pencils or felt-tip pens.
3. Crafts, metallic sparkles, wax crayons, collages, copying of drawings (eg coloring books), or other materials are not accepted.
4. Your drawing must be drawn by you without any help from anyone! It must be original. Only one drawing per participant is accepted.
5. The deadline for submitting your drawing to us is December 18, 2020 at 4:00 PM.
6. On the back of your drawing you absolutely must write your name, your full address, your age, your phone number and your school year.
7. Send your drawing directly to the radio at 138, rue Principale in Fort-Coulonge, Quebec, J0X 1V0 or bring it to us in person.

Drawings will be judged by originality and application submitted.
First category: 5 to 7 year olds
Second category: 8 to 10 year olds
Third category: 11 to 13 year olds (primary school level only)
