The Alzheimer Society of Outaouais (SAO) is launching its first major fundraising campaign, titled “Extending Memories

The Alzheimer Society of Outaouais (SAO) has officially launched its first major fundraising campaign, titled “Extending Memories.” The event took place in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, attended by more than 50 guests, including elected officials, regional dignitaries, major partners, and members of the campaign cabinet.

With a goal of $2 million to support individuals living with neurocognitive disorders and their caregivers, the Alzheimer Society of Outaouais has, for over 40 years, compassionately and dedicatedly supported hundreds of families in the region through its day centers, respite services, support groups, and psychosocial assistance. Anne Desforges, Acting Executive Director, provides the following report:

Thanks to this campaign, the organization will be able to continue its essential mission and strengthen its presence across all regional county municipalities (MRCs) in the Outaouais.
