Terry Murdock Returns to Thorne’s Mayoral Office

With just over 38% of the vote, former Thorne mayor Terry Murdock (120 votes) won the election, securing 25 more votes than his two opponents, including outgoing Mayor Karen Kelly (95 votes). Outgoing councillor Deborah Stratford also received 95 votes, matching Kelly’s total.

This marks a return to office for Murdock, who previously served as mayor from 2013 to 2017.
