Ten new cases of COVID-19 in the Outaouais region
The most recent report from the Government of Quebec reveals that ten new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the last 24 hours in Outaouais, bringing the total to 141.
The territory of the MRC Pontiac still has 5 cases or less.
Note that there are now 15 employees in the health network who have COVID-19, 4 more than yesterday.
In Quebec, there are 11,677 confirmed cases of people with COVID-19. Currently, 547 people are hospitalized, 186 of whom are in intensive care. The death toll stands at 241 in the province.
In his daily press briefing, the Premier of Quebec, François Legault, talked about the measures that have been implemented and respected by a majority of citizens, and he said he hoped that the province would take a new steps soon to “reopen” the province.
In his message, the Premier asked Quebeckers to remain courageous, because, according to him, better days are coming and Quebec will emerge from this crisis.
