Survey work in the west of Pontiac until October

Residents of the western Pontiac sector, particularly those from L’Isle-aux-Allumettes, Sheenboro, Chichester, and Waltham, regularly meet with employees from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) to conduct various surveying tasks. Ces travaux font partie de la mesure 15 du Plan de protection des plaines inondables (PPP).

The MRNF will conduct building surveys in certain municipalities in the region and is expected to be active until the end of October 2025. The ministry’s objective is to provide information for a better understanding of the vulnerability of flood-prone areas through up-to-date data.
