Successful Ball Tournament in Support of the Fort-Coulonge Minor Hockey Association: A Way to Reduce Registration Costs

Paul Boisvert, president of the Fort-Coulonge Minor Hockey Association, is pleased with the funds raised by his organization during the recent ball tournament, held over the first weekend of August at the field in Mansfield-et-Pontefract. More than $10,000 was collected, which will go toward reducing registration fees for parents.

“In recent years, this has been our biggest success—we raised just over ten thousand dollars this year,” he said.

A golf tournament will be the next fundraising event organized in support of the Fort-Coulonge Minor Hockey Association. It will take place on August 23 at the course in Mansfield-et-Pontefract.

“On August 23, we have another fundraiser—a golf tournament we’ve been organizing for the past three years,” he explained.
