Study on relations with nature in Bristol and Pontiac
A study is being conducted in the municipalities of Bristol and Pontiac by researchers at the University of McGill, to assess the relationship between humans and nature entitled ”How people from Bristol and Pontiac feel nature makes their lives better”. The researcher conducting the study, Dalal Hanna, told CHIP in an interview her goal with this study:
In 2018, from August to November, a survey was conducted in the two municipalities to identify the different characters involved, from farmers to campers to hunters. The result was 75 different ways nature affects people in the Pontiac. Here is Dalal Hanna once again with more:
A meeting will take place on February 9th from 10AM to 3:30PM at the Bert Kennedy Center in Quyon, to present the results. Those interested can contact Dalal at 514-318-6332 before January 28th. The full interview with the researcher is available here.
