Student Tyler La Salle and teacher Dominique Bomans awarded at the Forces Avenir Gala

At the Forces Avenir Gala at Casino du Lac Leamy, students were honoured for their leadership, perseverance and stance against bullying.

Two individuals from the Pontiac where at the gala, Tyler La Salle of Sieur de Coulonge, who won the Student Engagement Award and teacher Dominique Bomans for the Personnel Engagement Award.

Tyler has created a self-help group for students to deal with difficult situations such as bullying.

Mme Bomans is involved on all fronts at Sieur de Coulonges, she invests her time with badminton and cross country teams, she helps young people for the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie and organizes several activities like Slam.
