Statement from Warden Jane Toller on Guillaume Boudreau’s nomination as the MRC Pontiac’s new Director of economic development

Following the MRC Pontiac Council of Mayors decision to appoint Guillaume Boudreau as the MRC’s new director of economic development, the MRC issued a news release specifying that his appointment as director was made official Tuesday, November 1, 2022 during the Council of Mayors extraordinary meeting, by a resolution and was voted in unanimously.

Mr. Boudreau will be bringing with him more than 14 years of experience working in human resources management, finance and project development, as well as professional experience and knowledge in environmental, entrepreneurship and school management. He is also undertaking an MBA in business administration at l’UQO (University of Quebec in the Outaouais). He was previously employed as the Vice-Principal of the Eastern Ontario Public School Board. He was also part of the Sunshine list Ontario, which is a list of individuals in Ontario earning an annual income that is superior to $100,000.

Boudreau should start working at the MRC at the end of November.

We look forward to continuing our work on the revitalization of the Pontiac with you on our team,” declared Jane Toller, Warden of the MRC Pontiac.
