SQ Seeks public’s help in Break and enter on Isle-aux-Allumettes :

The Sûreté du Québec is asking for help from the public to identify two people in relation to a break and enter that took place on June 10 in a residence on Saint-Jacques Street in Isle-aux-Allumettes.

At around 2:30 pm, a women was awakened by the sound of two suspects who had just entered her home. They fled after stealing jewelry, a phone and medication. According to the statement issued by the SQ, the 68 year old women was not injured.

The suspects are described as slender men. One wore a white and brown bandanna with a red sweater. The second suspect wore a gray Kangaroo style sweater. They were reported to have fled aboard a black sedan.

Any information that can identify these individuals can be passed on confidentially to the Sûreté du Québec’s Criminal Information Center at 1-800-659-4264.
