Split weekend for the Pontiac Comets

The Pontiac Comets played two out of the five game series, over the weekend, in the first round of the playoff against the Mont-Tremblant Diables. The Comets had a poor start to the series losing 4-2 while Sunday, the Comets dominated the game winning 11-2. Both games were played at home in Fort-Coulonge.

As for the other series; Mont-Laurier took on Maniwaki in an evenly split weekend, with the Forestiers coming out on top 7-4 on Saturday in Maniwaki, followed by a 7-4 win by Mont-Laurier on Sunday. Their next game will be played in Mont-Laurier this Saturday at 7 p.m.

The next Comets game will take place this Saturday at 8 p.m. in Mont-Temblant.
