Special measures for education in general adult and vocational education
The Centre de services scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais (CSSSHBO) informed students in general adult education and vocational training in the Pontiac, that the measures taken due to the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Outaouais must be maintained.
The CSSHBO mentions that Public Health must renew the application of the measures previously established, given the scale of the pandemic in the region and teaching continues to be done remotely, until May 2. However, teaching can also be done face-to-face when necessary, such as when the program or the skills to be acquired or assessed so require, in particular during practical learning in the laboratory or using specific equipment. The respect of the health instructions already established continues, that is to say the wearing of the mask, the frequent washing of the hands and the distancing of two (2) meters.
“Local assessments can still take place remotely and internships can continue without any change, when health measures instead of the internship allow. The staff of the Adult Education Center and the Vocational Training Center will contact you to establish your attendance schedule, ”explains the CSSHBO.
