Sortir du Bois holds open house

Pontiac organization Sortir du Bois held an open house today (January 24) at their location along Hwy. 148 in Campbell’s Bay. Councillor Émilie Demers explained that they’re an organization that helps people re-integrate into the labour market.

She said that they were hoping to increase the number of participants. She said that their target is to have 20 people enrolled in the 22 week program over the course of the year, usually in groups of no more than 9 or 10at a time. She said that they offer work placements at various locations depending on the goals of the participants.
