Some residents complain about delays in their files

Asked about the complaints from citizens affected by the 2019 floods and seeing the processing of their files being delayed at the Ministry of Public Security (ministère de la Sécurité Publique) for different reasons, the MNA for Pontiac, André Fortin invited the residents to make contact with his office directly.

André Fortin also added that the situation of the MRC Pontiac following the floods was “unique”. He also mentioned that he hopes that the Minister of Municipal Affairs (ministre des Affaires municipals et de l’Habitation du Québec), Andrée Laforest, will eventually come to the Fort-Coulonge/Mansfield area to better understand the situation of the residents.
