Social Workers Week will be held March 22nd to 28th

Social Workers Week will take place from March 22nd to 28th 2026 with the theme “Make a difference”. The event aims to highlight the significant contribution of these professionals within social and community services.

During the week, various activities are organized to raise awareness on the profession and to showcase the role of social workers among the population. These activities are intended for members of the profession as well as other human relations professionals, social work students and the general public.

A web site specifically created for the occasion offers information on the profession, a calendar of activités and promotional tools to highlight the event in the workplace and on social media.

Social Workers Week is an initiative of the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec (Quebec Order of Social Workers and Marriage and Family Therapists), carried out in collaboration with several partners from universities, labor unions, and the health and social services network.
