The Pontiac Community and Social Development Forum was held Friday (November 16th, 2018) at the Campbell’s Bay Recreation Center, where over 150 people from different organizations here in the Pontiac were in attendance: social workers, municipal officials, non-profit organizations and other invited individuals. The coordinator for Pontiac en Forme, the Comité 0-5 ans and healthy lifestyle at the Pontiac Social Development Table, Lisa Lagacé, told CHIP, after her presentation, what challenges she discussed and why it was important to bring them up:

The federal member of Parliament, Will Amos, was also in attendance and reiterated the support of the government moving forward with the different social and community development projects:

During this meeting, the organizers took the opportunity to pay tribute to two social and community stakeholders in the region, Guylaine Marcil and Richard Grimard. A full report and several interviews conducted during the event will be available soon.
