Skiing at school: they arrive on Parliament Hill today

After three days of cross-country skiing, the students of the Skiing at School program from ESSC will reach their destination today to attend the launch the annual Ski Day on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. As a reminder, the group left ESSC early on the weekend, traveling about thirty kilometers in cross-country skiing every day. The goal of the Ski Day is to promote cross-country skiing as an excellent form of physical activity and to show that cross country skiing programs have great potential in schools for the winter months. Note that the National Capital is preparing to host the Canadian Ski Championships which will take place from March 13th to 20th.
