Situation update: Fire in the Gracefield area

Aerial reconnaissance conducted this morning by the operations manager estimated the fire’s size at 11.5 hectares. Thanks to the rainfall overnight, fire activity is calm today. Forest firefighters on site are working to contain the blaze using a water line, aiming to halt its spread completely and declare it under control by tomorrow. Malanie Morin from SOPFEU provides an update on the situation:
