Mr. Findlay indicated that an estimate of around $75,000 had been drawn up for the bleachers, which are motorized and can retract against the wall. The Western Quebec School Board contributed the difference between the amount raised and the total cost. He pointed out that the bleachers had been installed a few weeks ago, but that the tournament was a good opportunity to show them off.

Looking to the future, Mr. Findlay said they’ve been kicking around some ideas for future fund-raising projects.
