Shawville, Clarendon, and Otter Lake Choose Continuity

Both Shawville Mayor Bill McCleary and Clarendon Mayor Ed Walsh felt strong support from their constituents throughout election night yesterday. The two received results similar to those of the previous election and have each been granted a new four-year mandate.

In Clarendon, Ed Walsh secured 60% of the vote against his opponent, Michael Hodgins, marking his re-election. The full results of the Clarendon election are available here.

In Shawville, Bill McCleary won more than 65% of the vote over Linda Davis, a former Ottawa city councillor and previous candidate for Warden of the MRC Pontiac. The complete results of the Shawville election are available here.

Meanwhile, in Otter Lake, Jennifer Quaile was elected with nearly 70% of the vote, defeating outgoing councillor Sonia St-Laurent.
