Secondaire en spectacle: ESSC students show off their talents
The local finals of Secondaire en spectacle took place yesterday (February 26) at École Secondaire Sieur de Coulonge, with 40 student artists presented 25 performances. The two-hour show, mainly composed of dance numbers and a few songs, delighted a full house that came to cheer on the students. The jury was composed of Garrett Vekaryask (ESSC teacher), Danelle Bourque (MRC Pontiac) and Marie Gionet (CHIP 101.9), under the supervision of Mélanie Robillard (ACLAM).
The evening organized by the recreation technician at Sieur de Coulonge Jeremy Labine and teacher Natasha Corriveau, who were able to count on a dozen volunteer teachers or support staff. Labine gave his comments at the end of the evening:
The evening’s winners advance to the regional finals, which will take place at Jean-Despréz Hall in Gatineau on April 2 including Talira Savard who was a winner in 3 categories. CHIP 10.9’s Marie Gionet was on hand to record her comments after the show:
