Second extraordinary meeting in two months at the MRC Pontiac
Second extraordinary meeting in two months at the MRC Pontiac
For the second time in two months, an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Mayors of the MRC Pontiac will take place, this time this Wednesday, February 24 at 6 p.m. During the regular meeting on February 17, the mayor of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes, Winston Sunstrum, had already indicated that he wanted to see three subjects on the agenda. This request had also provoked a discussion on the agenda procedures and several mayors demanded that their votes be recorded against the adoption of the agenda.
The extraordinary meeting was therefore requested last Friday by Winston Sunstrum and the mayor of Bryson, Alain Gagnon. It is specified that in order to comply with the directives issued for public health by the competent authorities, elected representatives will participate in the session virtually by videoconference/telephone. The session is expected to be streamed via Facebook.
