Sébastien Bonnerot is the new President of the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce

The Pontiac Chamber of Commerce has a new president, Century 21 Elite real estate broker Sébastien Bonnerot. He was elected at a meeting of the Chamber’s Board of Directors  on November 21. Bonnerot comes into the role with 20 years of business experience, having worked for 10 years as a vocational rehabilitation consultant and for 12 years as a real estate broker, agency owner and investor.
“It is an honor for me to accept the Presidency of the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce. The current Board of Directors is dynamic, diverse and creative,” Bonnerot said (translated). “We want to increase local opportunities for business people in the Pontiac, while opening their eyes to a global and digital economy. Economic challenges have been numerous over the past 15 years in our vast territory, and we will focus on the elements that directly affect the people of Pontiac, namely the competitiveness of local commerce, the growth of economic relations and partnerships, and the revitalization of our membership.”
He also said he wanted to thrive in his new role by providing inclusive leadership among Pontiac business people and mobilizing the business class to boost the Pontiac economy.
“It is with great enthusiasm that we welcome the election of Mr. Bonnerot as President of the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce,” said the Chamber’s Director General Jessica Forgues (translated).His business experience and education will stimulate the ongoing discussions and activities of our organization. We welcome him.”
“The vision of the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce is to promote the economic growth of our region,” Bonnerot said (translated).We believe that a strong and dynamic private sector is the key to a better quality of life for all our citizens. Our role is to recognize the leaders of our business community and to publicize their services and accomplishments throughout the Pontiac and beyond our borders.”
