School closures in the Pontiac
The Commission scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais confirmed that tomorrow Wednesday April 30 the schools in the Pontiac will be closed;
• École des Petits-Ponts (All Pavillons);
• École secondaire Sieur-de-Coulonge;
• Centre Pontiac;
• Centre de formation professionnelle Pontiac
Students and teachers from the school are asked to stay home during this exceptional time and situation.
The Western Quebec School Board also announced via their Facebook page the schools that will be closed in the Pontiac tomorrow as well:
• At the request of the municipality of Campbell’s Bay, St. John’s will be closed Wednesday due to the pressure put onto the local sewage system.
• At the request of the municipality of Isle-aux-Allumettes, Dr. Wilbert Keon School will be closed Wednesday and Thursday due to the pressure put onto the local sewage system.
