About the Position
Enviro Crush is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Scale Operator to manage daily scale operations,
ensure accurate weight recordings, and provide excellent customer service. This role is essential to
maintaining smooth site operations and accurate billing.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate the truck scale to accurately weigh inbound and outbound vehicles
• Enter weight and material data into the scale management system
• Verify load tickets, receipts, and documentation for accuracy
• Provide courteous customer service to drivers, vendors, and site visitors
• Monitor site traffic flow and ensure drivers follow safety protocols
• Communicate discrepancies or safety concerns to supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized office environment
• Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, reporting, and data entry
• Provide phone support by gathering customer information related to dumpster delivery and
collection requests.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (training provided)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills (data entry, email, office software)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous scale or weighmaster experience is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of truck types, materials, or industry terminology preferred
Work Environment
• Indoor scale office
• Interaction with truck drivers and site personnel
• May require occasional outdoor observation or coordination
Schedule & Pay
Schedule:
7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday)
8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Saturday)
Hourly Wage: $20.00-$25.00
