Residents of Sand Bay present a petition 1,100 signatures

Over 30 people were in attendance for the regular meeting of the Mayors on Wednesday to give a presentation addressing their concerns regarding an new septic system that was installed in one of the residences in Sand Bay, Clarendon. The Sand Bay residents were also in attendance to submit a petition:

That was Randal Russel, a Clarendon resident in the Sand Bay area, who spoke on behalf of the other residents. Following the meeting, CHIP 101.9 spoke to the Mayor of the Municipality of Clarendon, John Armstrong, who gave more details about the situation at the municipal level.
