Residences Meilleur; a project in its final stages

A public meeting was held yesterday at Herrington Hall in the municipality of Isle-Aux-Allumettes regarding the Résidences Meilleur du Haut Pontiac. Over 60 people were in attendance for the meeting, notably the mayor of Chichester Donald Gagnon, the mayor of Sheenboro Doris Ranger and the mayor of Isle-aux-Allumettes: Winston Sunstrum who told why they organized the public meeting:

Among other things, there were questions answered about the project schedule, the budget, registration and various details in regards to future residents. From the Board of directors in charge of Construction, Ivan Schryer, gave more details in regards to the biggest topic of discussion during the question period at the meeting: The building.

The Board says that they are expecting to have residents move in by May 1st, 2019. The main goal of the residence is to keep seniors from the municipalities Isle-aux-Allumettes, Rapide-Joachims, Sheenborro, Chichester and Waltham in the region.
