Repairs of Félix-Gabriel-Marchand will continue despite the current Pandemic
The repairs of the Félix-Gabriel-Marchand bridge (Red Bridge) on Chemin du Pont-Rouge in Mansfield-et-Pontefract will continue despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ministère des Transports announced that the work will be continued to “ensure the integrity of the heritage structure and the protection of a possible spring flood.”
Essential road works, such as snow removal and road repairs, will also remain active, to allow the necessary trips to be made in complete safety.
Several projects under the supervision of the ministère des Transports were suspended after the Quebec government asked for the closure of all non-essential services, including transportation, on March 23.
