Reopening of Eardley-Masham Road

The Eardley-Masham Road, linking the municipalities of Pontiac and La Pêche, is now reopened to traffic. A section between Bradley Road in Pontiac and Sincennes Road in La Pêche was closed on April 19th, due to the rising water levels.

Work done by the Ministry of Transport:
• Replacement of 2 culverts damaged by the spring freshet;
• Replacement of 3 other culverts that have reached their lifespan;
• Rock fill on the edge of the roadway to prevent erosion;
• Partial reconstructions of the road at various locations;
• Paving operations on sections of Eardley Road that have been damaged.
