Quebec in the green zone and a marked improvement in Pontiac
The premier of Quebec was happy to announce yesterday that starting Monday, the province will be in the green zone, which means that soon, a maximum of 10 people will be able to meet inside and 20 people in outside. 10 people can also dine at an indoor table while 20 people can now sit together on the terraces. Some health restrictions will remain in effect at least until the fall. For example, wearing a mask in indoor public places.
“The steps to return to a normal life are scheduled for August and for that it takes collective immunity. And for that, it takes both doses. ”

A marked improvement in the Pontiac
The situation in the Pontiac area has clearly improved. After the closure of Sieur-de-Coulonge High School (ESSC), cases began to decrease and as of June 22, the number of active cases was at 5. The situation is also encouraging elsewhere, since the number of active cases for the whole of the Outaouais is now 65. The city of Gatineau has 42 active cases, 16 were in the RLS Papineau, only 2 in the RLS des Collines-de-l’Outaouais and 0 in the Valley-de-la-Gatineau. Statistics from the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais are available here.
