Pump track officially opened in Fort-Coulonge

On Saturday morning (July 13), the Municipality of Fort-Coulonge held the opening of their new pump track on rue Baume, attended by several local officials and plenty of local youth.

In a French-language interview with CHIP 101.9, Mayor Christine Francoeur spoke about the creation of the track, which was built with the help of a $100,000 FRR grant from the MRC.

Francoeur said that there is still some work to be done, including additional landscaping as well as a wall to prevent potential flooding. She added that the track was not open to motorized vehicles, but electric bikes and scooters were welcome.
